Cassiane de Santana Lemos
is a professor in the Nursing Department -The Medical School (FMB) of São Paulo State University (Unesp), Botucatu Campus. She has a doctorate in science from São Paulo University and extensive experience in operating theatre nursing. In her post-doctorate she researched surgery access and global health. She is an Associate of Woman Global Health Brazil. She has experience in the area of nursing, with an emphasis on nursing in adult and elderly health, working mainly on the following topics: anesthesia, nursing, perioperative nursing, colorectal surgery, patient safety, global surgery and global health.
